Replacement tree

Our poor weeping willow got blown over in the winter storms, revealing that it had a very poor root structure. It had to come out, so we got a replacement, which we planted in a better position, where it wouldn't have to compete so hard with other trees very close by.

The Clyde Auditorium in glorious sunshine

We picked a good day for our day out in Glasgow. The Australian Pink Floyd Show that evening was brilliant. Very authentic sound, great light-show based on the Pulse concerts, and they even did a few Syd Barrett era numbers (One Of These Days, Astronomy Domine, and Set Controls For The Heart Of The Sun). They are the very next best thing to seeing the actual band.

Denise managed to complete the Alloa half-marathon ...

... despite the blizzard conditions. It's madness, I say! Madness! Her time was 2 hours 5 minutes.

Waiting forever for the camera to take the picture

The strain was almost too much for Steven. Don't you just hate auto-focus?!

Dug went punk

And blind, from the flash. Sorry, Dug.

The 'walk-ears' suit him somehow ...

Michael got confused ...

... and bought a baby-bel cheese instead of a Red Nose.
